Axis Trampoline Club was established as an independent club in 2008 after 3 years as part of Team Bath Evolution Trampoline Club, it was and still is Bristol's biggest trampoline club. The club was made homeless in August 2014 when Redwood Hotel closed and has worked very hard to secure new premises, moving into its own dedicated centre in January 2015. This move has enabled the club to expand its services and it now runs classes in a wide range of gymnastic disciplines including Trampolining, General Gymnastics, Double Mini Trampoline, Pre-School, Tumbling, FreeG and Gymfit. The club has now changed its name to Axis Trampoline and Gymn ast8ics Club to reflect this change in the disciplines we offer. We hope to become a centre of excellence in all of the rebound disciplines, producing regional, national and world class competitors in the future and already medal both regional and national in these disciplines.

Axis Trampoline and Gymnastics Club is a not for profit community based club whose purpose is to get as many people involved in a range of fantastic gymnastics disciplines, promoting both participation and fun at all levels. We cater for all members of the community with classes from pre-school fun sessions through to adult gymnastics and trampolining sessions. We welcome beginners of all ages and with our younger members we work towards the British Gymnastics Fundamentals and Proficiency Award Schemes which encourages the children to achieve goals and gain awards.

Axis Trampoline and Gymnastics Club works with Bristol schools, Bristol leisure centres & other recreational trampoline clubs in Bristol to help develop trampolining in Bristol and the surrounding area. We have a friendly and approachable environment with lessons involving learning and play to develop good social skills as well as a high standard of performance. We run recreational trampolining sessions alongside our competitive squad which gives inspiration to those new to the sport.

Axis has a growing competitive trampolining squad who enter local, regional and national trampolining competitions and in recent years have had some fantastic results at all levels. We have long-term development plans to develop members of the club at a consistent rate to produce a firm base on which to build a successful competitive trampolinist.

As well as the traditional gymnastics disciplines Axis Trampoline and Gymnastics Club also hosts Axis Freedom within their building who provide a range of Circus activities for those wishing to do something a little more unusual. These currently include Aerial skills, Acrobatic skills, Hand balancing, Teeterboard, Trampoline Wall and Slackline. Please visit their page to see more about their sessions.

Axis takes the welfare of its members very seriously. We have all the required policies in place (including the Club Mark accreditation) to ensure the well being of all our members.

Our Welfare Officer is Emma Weston, and she can be contacted on 0117 9661878 - if you have any questions or problems regarding the welfare of any member.
